Welcome Karen!

Program Manager, Mentor

My name is Karen Carroll, I am originally from Alpharetta and attended South Forsyth High School in Cumming Georgia. I graduated from The University of Georgia in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology.

I have been the Executive Director at Hope House, a not for profit mental health group home that provides permanent supportive housing to adult men who suffer from a serious and persistent mental illness, for the past 8 years. I am also a Mediator in both civil and domestic mediation. I currently work with the 9th District Office of Alternative Dispute Resolution and the Gwinnett Judicial System to provide mediation in Magistrate Court for both civil and criminal cases. I am married with 2 wonderful children, ages 2 and 7. I became a mentor last year with Mentor Me and have loved every minute of it! I enjoy reading, travel, boating, spending time with friends and family and cheering for the Dawgs!
