Welcome to Mentor Me!                     

Mentor Me is a new non-profit organization composed of the same volunteer leadership, staff and mentors that were part of the Forsyth County office of Big Brothers / Big Sisters of Northwest Georgia Mountains. In nearly 7 years of serving Forsyth County more than 300 children have been mentored. In 2008 we grew strong enough to expand and become an independent organization called Mentor Me – North Georgia, Inc. We can now serve the needs of our communities in Forsyth, North Fulton and Dawson Counties and Flowery Branch.  Mentor Me is proud to be a United Way agency.

Our Mission

Our mission is to help children reach their potential through mentoring relationships with responsible adults. Mentor Me matches children ages 6 – 12 that are primarily from single-parent families or children who are being raised by grandparents or other family relatives. Children are matched with adult volunteers from our community. This is time spent with the volunteer and the young person doing things they enjoy in the community, typically through weekly contact.
